Negative Pleasures

Emotional problems, stress, depression and relationship issues all interfere with our thinking. In order to temporarily escape from these difficulties, people engage in what amount to negative pleasures. Normal, healthy pleasures can also be negative if they become compulsive or habitual. Any pleasure that is taken to extreme is negative. For example, eating two gallons of chocolate ripple ice cream is obviously negative. Staying up all night, drinking coffee and watching tv or streaming videos is also negative.

Let’s take a look at various activities that are negative and actually harmful, and could lead to instant trouble. Check all the activities that apply to you.
