The Gratitude Log

Why not sit quietly and reflect on all those things for which you feel grateful! Instead of continually chasing the material things in life, be happy with the things that you have: Your family, all of your friends and neighbors, and your health.

At the end of the day list at least three people to whom you feel grateful in some way. Add three new people each day. Build your future and your list on today’s joys. Think of your list as an early Christmas or holiday greeting card list.

Counting your own blessings can actually increase happiness and health. Reminding ourselves of the good things in life can be a blessing in itself.

If you are able, why not give something back to your community in some small way. Like taking a basket of assorted fresh fruit to the Senior Center this weekend.
